We are looking for a Credit Management Executive to join our Finance Share Service Team. As a Credit Management Executive, this role is pivotal in managing credit processes, ensuring timely and accurate credit assessments, and supporting effective credit control measures to optimize cash flow and minimize credit risk.

Make an Impact by

  • Ensure that Month/Quarter/Half-year/Annual Financial Close is performed and reported accurately, including journals for provisions and write-off.
  • Closely monitor debt collection activities performed by executives, providing support on problem areas and ensure adequate follow-up action is undertaken.
  • Enhance robustness or debt collection activities and streamline processes where possible through automation.
  • Ensure adequate record keeping of reports and supporting documents for Finance/ Auditors.
  • Be the key player to business partnering with NCS on all debt management matters in your portfolio of customers.
  • Consolidate and review debt review findings for reporting to NCS, highlighting opportunities to enhance debt collection processes.
  • Perform periodic analysis and reviews of ageing and collection trends to provide explanation to CM Director, NCS Finance and leadership team on debt collection performance, to add-value and ensure that efforts in debt collection are consistently applied.
  • Provide guidance to team members in the preparation of debt analysis, DSO analysis and collection analysis.
  • Ensure that all collections are matched correctly and on a timely basis by collections team
  • To be responsible for the technical upskilling and growth of the NCS CM team
  • To maintain adequately the distribution of roles and responsibility of the team members and their portfolio
  • Ensure timely responses to queries by customers, business partners and management
  • Co-ordinate effort to provide responses to auditors (internal and external)
  • Recommend updates/improvements to policies where/when required
  • Work closely and follow-up with IT for requirements/issues arising from system
  • Assist Manager in AOP and monthly forecasting activities
  • To guide/review/approve any other matters, done by team members, not mentioned above
  • Any other ad hoc matters that may arise

Skills for Success

  • Degree in Accounting/Finance
  • At least 4 to 5 years in a similar capacity
  • Have a good grasp and application of accounting concepts and principles
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
  • Have broad industry knowledge and understand project accounting and revenue recognition rules
  • Able to understand and articulate end-to-end processes from sales to collection
  • Ability to manage and lead executives driving efficiency and effectiveness
  • Problem solving & Analytical skills
  • Keen eye for details & Meticulous
  • Able to work both independently and in a team
